Sabele, Adventurers!
Hi Everyone,
Or should I say Sabele, which means "Hello" in J'karo!
As some of you may know, I don't just work on my own projects, I also do work for various clients across different industries and media. And it has been my pleasure to have worked as an artist for Jordan Hampton, a fantasy author, linguist, and the mastermind behind The Word of Y'Neshu book series: an exciting fantasy adventure featuring gifted people powered by fully functional languages created by Jordan himself!
I've been tasked with designing the appearance for the characters in Jordan's world which takes inspiration from various African cultures, and it has been an exciting and rewarding challenge that I continue to enjoy. Here's the artwork of the main character J'Kana:
